Before any order, you must check the configuration of the table on which your slide will be assembled. Some tables are very specific as the presented examples (Sketches 9 and 10), and have to be classified into a category opposed to what there sketch would let you think. Assemble a slide for a central leg table as on the example 9 would be a mistake as in fact it is a table of the 4 leg family. In the same way, assemble a slide for a 4 leg table according to example 10 would create a subsidence of the half-tops as this table is in fact a central leg table !

- if legs follow tops movement, it is a 4 leg table
- and if legs remain fixed during tops movement, it is a central leg table.
